GRIPE OF THE DAY

In today’s newsletter issue, we’ll be tackling:

  • The dating scheme of gold digging

  • Explaining who a gold digger is

  • Signs gold diggers show in any romantic relationship they’re in

  • What to do about it if you’re dating a gold digger.

Let’s begin!!!

WHY YOU SHOULD CARE

Fixing this problem has some important good points.

First, if you can spot and get rid of people just after your money, you can have better relationships based on trust and real love.

Second, keeping your money safe means a more secure future.

Lastly, getting away from people who cause problems can make you feel better emotionally and mentally, leading to more happiness and peace of mind.

However…

If you ignore this problem, bad things will happen.

First, you will lose a lot of money and may end up in debt.

Second, being in a relationship where someone only cares about money can make you feel anxious, or even depressed.

Lastly, dealing with someone who wants you for only what you can give them will ruin your relationship with the person and skew how you see and treat your future potential romantic partners.

THE BREAKDOWN

She takes my money when I’m in need, yeah she’s a trifling friend indeed, oh she’s a gold digger, way overtime that digs on me

Gold diggers,

They come in both sexes.

Yes, there are male gold diggers, but for some weird reason, everyone thinks it’s just women who love digging for gold.

Even though gold diggers come in different shapes and sizes, they usually have the same mentality and mission.

The mentality is usually entitlement and ingratitude to non-expensive gifts or vast sums of money.

Their mission is to get as much as they can from you financially without you noticing or giving you anything in return so they can live the luxurious life they want.

Anyway, if you are not sure if your boyfriend or girlfriend loves you for you and is just sticking around for your money, here are core signs your current significant other is a gold digger;

P.S.; I take genuine pleasure in doing this

1. ALL THEIR FRIENDS ARE GOLD DIGGERS
Humans are the average of the five people they hang around the most.

If, by the off chance, a gold digger allows you to know their friends and meet them — which rarely happens anyway — and all their friends are gold diggers/have a gold diggers mentality of entering relationships just for the money and not for love and commitment, news flash you are dating a gold digger.

2. THEY NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING…EVER!
Whenever you go on an outing or date with your significant other, and they never offer to pay for anything, that is a glaring sign.

Yes! I know Some of you reading this are already saying “but men are supposed to be the providers so they are meant to pay for everything.”

First of all…that’s a parasitic mentality.

Secondly, open your eyes!

Be smart!

If the woman or man you are in a relationship with has NEVER!

Keyword NEVER! bought you anything, not even something as little as a cup of coffee,

then get that person out of your life because all they’re doing is digging the gold out of your finance mines.

You also have to watch out because gold diggers are slick AF. They may offer to pay for something but stall long enough for you to pay.

You know that “oh! let me just look for my card move they do as they either pat down their pockets or scuffle around in their bag”

Be wise on these streets!

3. THEY ARE “A LITTLE BIT” ATTACHED TO YOUR SOURCES OF INCOME AND NET WORTH
Gold diggers only go where they’re confident there would be gold to dig.

In this “fake it till you make it” era, many people usually look like they “have money”.

Still, they almost always never have or live paycheck to paycheck.

Pay attention to how often she cares about how well your income sources “flow”.

P.P.S.; There is a difference between someone wanting to know how you make money so they can know if your source of income is perfectly legal and replicable using the same steps you used and someone who only wants to know how much you make and have in the bank account to spend.

Be wise; gold diggers are scandalous and would take you for everything you have without remorse if you let them.

4. THEY ARE USUALLY EMOTIONALLY DETACHED
Emotional attachment is every gold digger’s kryptonite.

They know they are finished if they commit the grave sin of falling in love with you.

So, they take precautions by ensuring they remain emotionally distant and cold towards you.

They never allow you to know them profoundly or do things they know might pull their heartstrings in your favour.

They would only allow you to buy them the many expensive material things on their wish list.

Anything other than that is too much.

Gold diggers would not let you go as far as seeing or knowing their family.

They make it a duty to keep the relationship as shallow as possible.

5. THEY WILL ALWAYS VALUE EXPENSIVE GIFTS AND THINGS OVER THOUGHTFUL GESTURES
Thoughtful gestures stem from intimacy in a relationship.

You can make a kind gesture for your significant other because you know them well enough to know what they would like/appreciate and at what point in their lives.

Since gold diggers prefer to keep the relationship at its shallow stage, there is no way you’d know what they like except by buying them expensive stuff or giving them a tremendous amount of money.

And even if you go out of the way to try and do a thoughtful gesture for them, thinking they’d like it, you’d only be disappointed.

6. QUICK COMMITMENT
They may rush the relationship, pushing for exclusivity or moving in together quickly, often to gain quicker access to your finances.

7. THEY USE MANIPULATION AND GUILT-TRIPPING REGULARLY
They use emotional manipulation to get what they want, making you feel guilty for not meeting their material expectations.
